General Objective

The project has been designed to research and to transfer all good practices that have been developed in dual VET in countries that have implemented it. With the results of this research will be elaborated materials for tutors and student and will be made a pilot experience on three industrial sectors (Metal, construction and food). The result of the pilot experience will be collected in a Guide, establishing a methodology for the imparting of dual training in enterprises. All educational materials will be defined under the EUROPASS APPRENTICE ACCREDITATION.

Specific objectives

To investigate and define the key aspects that are associated with the training of a dual system: the selection of the participating enterprises, the characteristics and the role of the mentors, how the training is related to the enterprises and, finally, the results of the training in terms of skills.

To validate the training materials with the European system (EUROPASS_EQF) so the materials are recognized at the European level.

  • To support the development of training policies in DUAL education that integrate both the analyzed skills and the developed materials and the proposed actions to be developed with mentors, mentees, enterprises and training center
  • To define a framework for these state and regional regulations, in the very attempt to keep the labor market and to acquire a quality assurance of the training
  • To contribute to the implementation and shaping of national and European policies and systems of Dual training
